1. SMS Program Overview

2. How You Opt In (Call to Action)

You opt in to receive SMS messages from PropSight through the following methods:

Method 1: Lender/Servicer Order Submission

When your mortgage lender, loan servicer, or property inspection company submits a property inspection order through the PropSight platform and provides your mobile phone number, you will receive transactional SMS messages related to your inspection. Your lender or servicer obtains your consent to share your phone number for this purpose as part of their loan servicing agreement with you.

Method 2: Direct Consent via Order Form

When a client organization creates an inspection order on PropSight, they must check a consent checkbox confirming: "I confirm that the homeowner/borrower at the phone number provided has given express written consent to receive automated SMS text messages from PropSight regarding their property inspection." This checkbox is required before any SMS message is sent.

Method 3: API Integration

Client organizations integrating via our REST API must include an smsConsent: true parameter when creating orders, confirming that the end user has provided consent to receive SMS messages. Orders submitted without this consent flag will not trigger SMS notifications.

Important: Consent to receive SMS messages is NOT a condition of purchasing any goods or services. All SMS messages sent by PropSight are strictly transactional and related to scheduled property inspections.

3. Types of Messages You Will Receive

PropSight sends only transactional SMS messages. We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages. The types of messages you may receive include:

  • Inspection Request: A message containing a secure magic link to begin your property inspection (no app download or account required).
  • Inspection Reminders: Follow-up messages if your inspection has not been completed within the expected timeframe.
  • Floor Plan Scan Instructions: If your inspection includes a premium floor plan, you'll receive a link to the CubiCasa scanning app with step-by-step instructions.
  • Status Updates: Notifications about your inspection status (e.g., revision requested, inspection complete).

4. How to Opt Out

to any PropSight message to immediately unsubscribe

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from PropSight. After opting out:

  • You will receive a one-time confirmation message confirming your unsubscription.
  • You will no longer receive any SMS messages from PropSight.
  • You may still receive email notifications if an email address was provided.
  • Your inspection can still be completed via the email link if available.

To re-subscribe after opting out, reply START or UNSTOP to our number.

We take your privacy seriously. Here's how we handle your phone number:

  • No Sharing: We will NOT share, sell, rent, or disclose your mobile phone number to any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • No Marketing: Your phone number is used solely for delivering transactional messages related to your property inspection.
  • Limited Access: Your phone number is only shared with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of transmitting messages to you.
  • Secure Storage: All phone numbers are stored securely with encryption at rest and in transit.

7. Carrier Disclaimer

Wireless carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless carrier. PropSight is not responsible for messages that are not delivered due to carrier network issues, device compatibility, or other factors outside our control.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued receipt of SMS messages after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
